Truthfully, It’s a “Lyre”

The days of marching band were about field routines and memorization.  But before we could memorize, we strapped or connected a device to our instruments to attach the mini-sized marching band music — with a lyre.   I played a glockenspiel for marching band which was often shaped like a lyre. But it was much, much heavier.  I won’t lie to you — these lyres are honestly for sale.
